HOW DOES IT WORK?
HOW DO I SEND MY IMAGES FOR EDITING/CULLING?
Once you have shot your job, simply create a Lightroom Classic Catalog. You will only need to send me the files for your Lightroom Catalog - no RAWS. Once you have shot your job, simply create a Lightroom Classic Catalog. Be sure to build smart previews for all images when you create your catalog. They are best sent in a ZIP folder. To send and receive your catalog files, I will send a request via We Transfer, Dropbox or Google Drive. You may also add any presets you would like me to apply to your images.
How do I receive my files back from editing?
When editing is complete (usually within about 2 weeks), your Lightroom Catalog will be sent back to you. Download this, have a look at the edits and hit export. Easy Peasy!
How do you match my style?
There are several tools I use.
1. I will send you a questionnaire to fill out. The more detail you provide, the easier it will be. Here you will answer questions like:
What is your creative style?
What is your exposure preference? Protect those highlights, keeping it darker and saturated? Or do you prefer the image to be light and bright?
What percentage of the gallery would you like to deliver as black and whites?
2. Feel free to send me previous galleries to help me get a feel for your editing preferences and style. I will study these thoroughly.
3. I will gladly use the presets you prefer. Simply include them in the ZIP file alongside your Lightroom Catalog.
What is the turnaround time?
For weddings and larger catalogs, my promised delivery is usually 2 weeks. For smaller jobs like portrait sessions, I generally promise delivery in 1 week!
